Dismantling of a back depreciation rack / removal and installation of the shock-absorber / screw spring

Depreciation racks of all-wheel drive models with adjustment of height of a road gleam should not understand, they in case of malfunction should be replaced in a set.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a back depreciation rack.
  1. To clamp the top support of a depreciation rack in a vice with laying. To weaken a piston rod nut on several turns, without unscrewing.
  1. To remove the shock-absorber, it is necessary to squeeze a spring. In workshops special adaptation is for this purpose used.

Not to weaken the shock-absorber at all if the spring is not compressed.


  1. To clamp a szhimatel of MAZDA or other standard szhimatel in a vice. To insert in a szhimatel a back depreciation rack and slowly and to evenly squeeze a spring, the top cup of a spring will not unload yet.

If the standard szhimatel taking spring rounds is used to watch that rounds of a spring were taken reliably and the szhimatel could not come off.

It is obligatory to squeeze a spring in the 3rd places lying opposite. The spring has very big extent of compression therefore it is necessary to use only the reliable tool. Danger of accident!

The nut of fastening can be deleted only if the spring is reliably compressed.

  1. To remove a support of a depreciation rack, a screw spring and the otboyny buffer.

If it is necessary to replace only a spring, it needs to be weakened slowly. If, on the contrary, only replacement of the shock-absorber is required, the spring remains compressed.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation to check the shock-absorber, if necessary to replace.
  2. If it is required, to squeeze a screw spring.
  3. Cars to 9/89 g of the issue and the station wagon model: To impose the lower isolation on the shock-absorber.
  4. To establish a screw spring. To watch that the screw spring correctly adjoined to an emphasis of cups.
  5. To put on the otboyny buffer and a casing.
  1. Cars to 9/89 g of the issue and the station wagon model: To establish the top support of a depreciation rack and to level it. In the established state the white tag has to be turned to car inside.

Cars from 10/89 g of the issue, except the station wagon models

  1. Cars from 10/89 g of the issue except the station wagon models: To put on the top support of a depreciation rack and to level on the lower fastening of the shock-absorber.
  1. To screw the new self-stopped nut with effort of 60 Nanometers, for keeping to clamp the top support in a vice with laying.
  2. To slowly weaken a screw spring. At the same time to be convinced that the ends of a spring correctly sit in spring cups.
