Removal and installation of a nave

Cars from 10/89 g of the issue (not all-wheel drive), except the station wagon models

The hug bearing on cars from 10/89 g вып is in a nave on which the brake drum or a brake disk is fixed. The special stripper or a press therefore it is expedient to make removal of a nave with the bearing and installation new in a specialized workshop is necessary for installation of the bearing.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a nave cap the screw-driver or nippers.
  2. To weaken a nut of a nave of the car standing on the earth.

Big moment of an inhaling, danger of accident!

  1. To remove the brake drum or a disk, see the Head the Brake system.
  2. To remove a nave from a pin and to replace the bearing in a specialized workshop.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To put on a nave and to screw the new self-stopped nut, without tightening it it is final.
  2. To install the brake drum or a brake disk with a support, see the Head the Brake system.
  3. To screw a wheel, considering at the same time a tag on a nave. To lower the car and to tighten wheel nuts with effort of 100 Nanometers.
  4. To tighten a nave nut with effort of 200 Nanometers.
  5. To hammer a nave nut fillet into a pin groove with not really sharp chisel. It serves for protection against weakening of a nut.
  6. To hammer a new cap of a nave by means of a pipe.

It is obligatory to replace the deformed caps as because of leakage moisture can get to the hug bearing and destroy it for short term.
