Removal and installation of the cross lever / replacement of a rubber support

As for an inhaling of rubber support the car has to stand on wheels, is necessary or the elevator with a platform, or a viewing hole.

Removal

1 — a stabilizer nut
2 — a sleeve, the plug, a remote element
3 — a stabilizer bolt
4 — a bolt, a washer
5 — a bolt in a bolt, a nut
7 — a nut
8 — a washer

9 — the back plug of the cross lever
10 — a nut
11 — a bolt
12 — a spherical support
13 — a boot
14 — the forward plug of the cross lever
15 — the cross lever

to grease (lithium universal lubricant)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To mark the provision of a disk of a wheel in relation to a nave that the balanced wheel could be established in former situation.
  2. To weaken nuts of forward wheels of the car standing on the earth.
  3. To lift the car.
  4. To remove forward wheels.
  5. To weaken a stabilizer support on the cross lever for what to unscrew a nut-1-and to remove a bolt-3-with intermediate elements-2-. On cars to 9/89 g the issue and all station wagon models the bolt contrary to the image, is established from top to down.
  6. To unscrew a bolt-4-on a forward support of the cross lever.
  7. To unscrew a collar on a back support of the lever (a bolt-5-).
  8. To weaken a nut-6-, to take out a bolt-6-on a rotary fist. To take out a pin of a spherical support down from a rotary fist and to remove the lever.

If the pin of a spherical support is not taken out by a hand, to insert mount between the hinge and a rotary fist. Not to damage at the same time a hinge cuff, to enclose a rag.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To check wear of support of the lever and a rotary fist, if necessary to replace, see the Head Proverka/zamen of a support of the cross lever / a rotary fist.
  2. To insert the cross lever on a body and a rotary fist, to wrap bolts and nuts a hand, without tightening yet.
  3. To screw the stabilizer, without tightening bolts of fastening it is final.
  4. To screw a wheel, considering the tags put at removal. To lower the car and to tighten wheel nuts cross-wise with effort of 100 Nanometers.
  5. Several times to rock the car that the suspension bracket of wheels settled.
  1. Models to 9/89 g of the issue and the station wagon model: To screw a stabilizer nut until length of the acting carving becomes equal 10,8 mm.
  1. Models from 10/89 g of the issue, except "station wagon": To screw a stabilizer nut until length of the acting carving lies within 17 — 19 mm.
  1. To tighten back and forward support of the cross lever with effort of 110 Nanometers, a bolt on a rotary fist with effort of 60 Nanometers.
  2. Whenever possible it is rather to measure the angles of installation of wheels in a workshop.
