Removal and installation of an intermediate shaft

All-wheel drive models and models with the DOHC engine

Cars with the DOHC engine of 1,9 l and/or the four-wheel drive have an intermediate shaft between the transmission and the right power shaft at the expense of what length of both power shafts is identical.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove the right power shaft.
  2. To unscrew an intermediate support on the block of cylinders and to take out an intermediate shaft from the transmission, at the same time the epiploon should not be damaged.
  3. At damage the bearing and epiploons to vypressovat and replace (it is carried out in a workshop).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To insert an intermediate shaft and to tighten bolts in a certain sequence with effort of 50 Nanometers.
  1. To establish the right power shaft.
