Removal and installation of the wheel brake cylinder

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove brake shoes.
  2. To weaken a cap nut of the brake pipeline on the wheel cylinder from a reverse side.

Brake fluid will follow at the same time, to substitute specially intended vessel. To follow rules of the treatment of brake fluid, see the Section Pumping of the Brake System.


  1. To turn out 2 bolts of fastening of the-1-wheel cylinder on a reverse side of a board of a brake.
  1. To remove the wheel brake cylinder.
  2. To close a brake hose a suitable stopper to avoid big loss of liquid and penetration of dirt.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To install the wheel cylinder on a board of a brake and to tighten 2 bolts with effort of 10 Nanometers.
  2. To take out a plug and to tighten a cap nut of the brake pipeline with effort of 20 Nanometers.
  3. To establish brake shoes.
  4. To pump over the brake system. At the same time, as a rule, it is enough to pump over only that cylinder where the pipeline was opened. If brake pressure after pumping floats, it is necessary to pump over all system.
  5. It is several times strong to squeeze out a brake pedal. It regulates back brakes.
