MAZDA 323 it is equipped with the generator of alternating current. Depending on model and equipment the 55 generators of A or 65 can be installed A. Moshchnost is specified on the plate of the generator.

At installation of the additional equipment it is necessary to check whether there is enough power of the former generator, if necessary to install more powerful generator and the battery. The generator is set in motion from the crankshaft through maple a belt. At the diesel engine on a shaft of the generator the vacuum pump of the brake amplifier is in addition installed. The generator rotor with a winding of excitement rotates in a motionless winding of the stator with the speed twice exceeding crankshaft speed. On coal brushes and contact rings excitement current through an excitement winding proceeds. At the same time magnetic field is created.

Position of magnetic field in relation to a stator winding constantly changes, agrees with turn of a rotor. Thanks to it in a winding of the stator alternating current is developed.

As the battery can be charged only with a direct current, alternating current will be transformed in constant in the rectifier on a diode payment. The regulator of tension changes charging current inclusion and switching off of current of excitement, according to extent of battery charging. At the same time the regulator supports tension of the battery of constant 14 V, irrespective of speed.

Depending on type the generator can be the returned element, it means that upon purchase the cost of the old generator can be reckoned, at the same time the old generator is given to the producer.
