System of injection of fuel

The electronic system of injection MAZDA 323 injects fuel into an inlet pipe to inlet valves depending on a condition of the engine.

Fuel podsasyvatsya from a tank by the electric fuel pump and moves via the fuel filter and the distributive highway to injection gates.

Air podsasyvatsya by the engine via the air filter and an inlet collector and is measured by the measuring instrument of an air stream. In the case of the measuring instrument of an air stream there is a gate which deviates by an air stream. Position of the gate acts as the parameter for definition of a stream of air. The corresponding signal is given in the monitor from a gate potentiometer.

The monitor according to amount of air and speed of the engine regulates injection time. At longer opening of the gate of injection for one turn of the crankshaft the bigger amount of fuel is injected. The monitor is in the case in interior of the car behind the average console.

Additional sensors and elements provide a proper correlation air/fuel in all situations.

  • The measuring instrument of a stream of air is directly on the air filter. He reports instant amount of air in the monitor.
  • The sensor of provision of a butterfly valve is directly on a gate shaft. He reports in the monitor the provision of a butterfly valve at present. The monitor on the basis of the data obtained from the measuring instrument of an air stream and the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve defines optimum amount of fuel at the corresponding degree of loading.
  • The idling regulator (the electromagnetic valve) regulates air supply in an environment of a butterfly valve. Thanks to it the speed of the engine is stabilized, first of all, in a warming up phase.
  • The lambda probe (the oxygen sensor) measures the content of oxygen in the fulfilled gases and sends the corresponding electric signal to the monitor. On the basis of it the monitor changes composition of working mix so that the fulfilled gases optimum were burned up in the catalytic converter (catalyst).
  • The sensor of temperature takes temperature to cooling liquid on a head of cylinders. He transfers data to the monitor. The monitor coordinates quality of working mix with temperature at the expense of what the engine works steadily in all temperature conditions.
  • The valve of ventilation of a gasoline tank is operated depending on a condition of the engine. The emitted fuel vapors in a tank collect an adsorber with absorbent carbon and are taken away via the valve on reburning. Thanks to an adsorber with absorbent carbon, gasoline vapors mostly are used with advantage and do not get to the environment.
