Check/adjustment of the sensor of a butterfly valve

Cars with the mechanical transmission

The sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve should be checked if the engine badly accepts gas, has unstable idling and does not reach the maximum power. The sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve has to be checked also within maintenance.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect the plug from the sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve.
  1. To adjust by means of the flat probe distance between a persistent bolt of a butterfly valve and the persistent lever.
  1. To connect an ohmmeter and to check passing of current between plugs.

  1. If the result of one of these measurement does not correspond to the required value, the sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve should be adjusted.
  2. To connect the plug to the sensor.

Adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect the plug of the sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve.
  2. To connect an ohmmeter between contacts of TL and IDL.
  3. To adjust at the necessary size distance between the persistent screw of a butterfly valve and the persistent lever by means of the flat probe.

The required value: to 9/89 g of the issue: 0,5 mm with 10/89: 0,4 mm

  1. To weaken bolts of fastening of the sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve.
  1. To turn the sensor on 30 ° to the right, and then to turn slowly back until the ohmmeter begins to show course of current.
  2. To insert the probe 0,7 mm thick between the persistent screw of a butterfly valve and the persistent lever. Now on plugs current should not proceed. If current proceeds, adjustment should be repeated.
  3. To tighten both bolts of fastening with effort of 2 Nanometers.

The sensor of provisions of a butterfly valve when tightening bolts should not turn.

  1. Several times completely to open a butterfly valve by means of the accelerator pedal.
  2. To double-check adjustment of the sensor of a butterfly valve.
